About the Project
The BCM-HGSC has sequenced BAC clones from the chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes).
The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) has funded a chimpanzee genome project to take place at the Broad Institute and The Genome Institute at Washington University.
